Welcome to the Newcastle Diamond Way Buddhist group.

Our group was established in 2002 and is one of over 500 centres and groups of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism that were established by Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah throughout the world.

All Diamond Way Buddhist centres are run by volunteers (we are a registered charity) who share the same passion and enthusiasm for passing on some of the highest and most precious teachings and meditations given by Buddha.

We warmly welcome anybody who is interested in attending our weekly meditation evening held every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the address on the how to find us page. The meditation is free.

The meditation is guided and full explainations will be given to anybody who hasn't tried it before. If you have any questions, or would like more information please don't hesitate to call or email.

We regularly invite experienced travelling teachers to give lectures and talks on various Buddhist topics. Check out our events page for details of the next event and future national events.
